Chilly days are fading, and summer is here in most parts of the US and Canada. Are you looking for mountain bike demos happening in your area this summer? Want to try out a new bike (or two!) to find the best fit for you? Bikes are getting more and more expensive, and many top bike brands are offering local demos so you can ride before you buy! Reading reviews and testimonials may help, but hands-on experience with a new bike is best. This summer there are many opportunities for you to test drive some of the best brands of mountain bikes and decide which one may be best for you.

There are bike demos all over North America this year and we’ve done the research for you! See our mountain bike demo list below to find your favorite destination or bike brand. Below are just a few examples of some of the great demo events happening that will help you gear up for your summer on two wheels:

• NEMBA Fest: This 3-day festival kicks off on 28^th June and runs through June 30^th in East Burke, VT. Here you can enjoy demos of Marin bikes all day long.
• Ride Life Ride Giant Demo – Evergreen MTB Festival: Ride Life Ride Giant Demo – another festival in June 2019. The 2-day event will take place on 8^th and 9^th June in Issaquah, WA, giving access to demos for Giant bikes from [9:00] AM till [5:00] PM.
• Dirt Fest WV: Dirt Fest WV will be featuring Yeti bikes on July 12th from 9 AM to 5 PM in the heart of Bruceton Mills, WV at Big Bear Lake Trail Center. Yeti bikes are considered to be some of the most epic mountain bikes around, so if you haven’t ridden a Yeti yet, do not miss this event.
• Idaho Mountain Touring Demo: For the Ibis bikes lover, the Idaho Mountain Touring Demo features demos of Ibis branded bikes. The event is over four days from 5^th July to 8^th July in Boise, ID. Make this event a part of your summer getaway.
• Rides & Reggae Festival: August brings a delight for Marin bike lovers. The Rides & Reggae Festival is on 10^th of August this year in Downieville, CA. The best part of this festival is that it is an all-day event where you can demo Marin bikes. Needless to say, riding Marin bikes is an experience in itself.
• Mountain Bike Oregon: Another awesome place to ride demo bikes is Mountain Bike Oregon taking place in Oakridge July 19-21. There will be 10 bike companies offering free demos including Evil, Scott, Kona, Ibis, Esker and more! Mountain Bike Oregon is a 3-day event that includes camping, free beer garden at night, breakfast and lunch and shuttles to amazing singletrack. You can demo a bike for a full day ride or different bikes for a morning and an evening ride.
