Premium/Demo Ski Package Perfect for confident skiers ready to explore all that Telluride has to offer. This package features high-end skis designed for advanced intermediates and expert riders who want the latest technology for precision, stability, and performance.
Performance Ski Package A versatile setup ideal for intermediate and advanced-intermediate skiers looking to step up their skills. These skis are tuned for responsiveness and control, making them a great match for varied terrain and conditions.
Demo Snowboard A premium option for riders seeking a customized experience. This package features top-tier boards perfect for intermediate and expert snowboarders ready to take on Telluride’s steep terrain or try the latest shapes and tech.
Sport Snowboard An easy-to-ride setup designed for newer riders or those progressing to intermediate runs. These boards are forgiving and stable, making it easier to master turns and control.
Kids Ski & Snowboard Package This package is designed for kids under 5' tall of any skill level. Our team will carefully fit your child with safe, high-quality gear that helps them feel comfortable and confident on the mountain. Whether they’re starting out in ski school or already cruising past you on the hill, this package provides the right equipment to support their growth and keep the experience fun.
Skis & Boards Only If you already have boots, you can choose to rent skis or snowboards on their own. Simply uncheck “boots” at checkout, and we’ll provide just the skis or board with bindings (poles included with skis). This is a great way to save if you already have gear you love.
Boot Rentals Advance boot-only rentals are available for snowboards only at this location.

Duration
Full-day or multi-day rentals are available, with the option to pick up your rentals after 3 PM the night before your first rental day.
Shop Hours: 8 am – 6pm
Rentals are due back by closing on the final day of your rental.
Pro Tip: Pick up the day before you hit the slopes (3 PM or later) so you can head straight to the lift the next morning.

Located slopeside in Mountain Village, The Peaks Resort shop is a premier option for quick rentals and direct mountain access - it's the only ski-in, ski-out rental location.

We have options for every level - from first-timers to seasoned experts and everyone in between. And for the little riders, our kids Ski & Snowboard packages are perfect for children 5' and under.
What's Included
Our packages include everything you need to hit the slopes.
- Ski Package: Skis, boots, bindings and poles
- Snowboard Package: Snowboard, boots, and bindings
- Ski or Board Only: If you don't need boots, uncheck the box for boots at checkout, and we'll leave them out. Your package will come with a board or skis and bindings. Ski-only rentals also include poles.
- Boots Only: Ski boot-only rentals include binding compatibility test.
Additional Items:
- Helmet rentals are available for an additional cost at checkout
- Damage waiver - Your waiver covers all damage that can be repaired. It doesn’t cover loss, theft or negligence.

Do you offer helmet rentals in Telluride?
Yes! Helmets can be added to any rental package or picked up in-store on a first-come, first-served basis. While they can’t be reserved on their own, we highly recommend wearing one for your safety on the slopes.
What should I wear skiing in Telluride?

Can I pick up my equipment the day before I plan to use it?
Definitely! You’re welcome to pick up your equipment anytime after 3 PM the day before your reservation, and you won’t be charged for that day. Be sure to select this option at checkout.
Can I bring my own boots?
Of course! Just deselect boots when booking your package online.
Can I select the specific skis or board I want to use?
We’ll select equipment for you based on your skier profile, conditions, and preferences, but you’re welcome to ask for other options when you arrive or note any special requests at checkout.
Do you rent ski clothing?
Not at this time. However, Telluride Sports carries accessories like gloves, goggles, and helmets for purchase. Check out Kit Lender to rent ski clothing easily online and have it shipped directly to your accommodation at your ski destination.
Can I rent boots only?
Yes! Boot rentals are available for rent online. If you’re bringing your own skis, your bindings must meet manufacturer safety standards, and we’ll run a functionality test.
How do I determine my skier type?
Your skier type helps us set your binding release settings and is based on your height, weight, age, boot sole length, and preferred release setting:
- Type I: Lower release setting, easier ski release—best for beginners or cautious skiers.
- Type II: Average setting, suitable for most recreational skiers.
- Type III: Higher setting for aggressive skiers—less likely to release but higher risk of non-release.
Be honest about your preferences and history so our techs can ensure your safety.
