Exact Hollywood Sign address is provided upon booking. For planning purposes, the meeting location is near Lake Hollywood Park. Free parking is available, pay attention to posted signs near the Hollywood Sign viewpoint.

Guests should enjoy exercise, be in good health, and be able to walk 4 miles/6.4 km. Children should be 5+ years of age, and able to hike. For guests traveling with younger children/strollers, we recommend our express Hollywood Sign Tour (linked here).

Please note: guests should not have a fear of heights.

This is considered easy to moderate. You don't have to be an expert hiker, but shouldn't be afraid to break a sweat! 

We recommend bringing a small day pack or fanny pack to carry your belongings.

We highly recommend that you purchase your tour tickets in advance of your preferred tour date. By doing so, you are guaranteed a spot. Waiting to book runs the risk of the tour being sold out on the day you’d like to take it if you haven’t booked your tour in advance. 

We provide water for guests, but you are encouraged to bring your own snacks.

Should we need to cancel a tour due to inclement weather, we will contact you on the day of the tour. Our policy is to either offer you the opportunity to reschedule your LA tour for a different day or to offer you a refund for the tour. When you book your tour, please be sure to include your cell phone number or a local number where we can reach you as well as an email address.

There will not be restroom access during this tour.

Our Hollywood Sign Walk takes 90 minutes, and takes you directly below the Hollywood Sign for photos and a guided historic tour. If you’re looking for a more challenging hike, book our Hollywood Sign Hike, which takes about 2.5 hours! Both walks can be modified for a more bespoke, private tour.

The Hollywood Sign Tour is an easy walk, designed to take you through Griffith Park and below the Hollywood Sign in 90 minutes. It’s a completely flat walk, led by an expert Los Angeles Tour guide, and gives you all the intimate history of the surrounding area.

You are not able to drive to the Hollywood Sign; however, you can walk to it! We recommend doing so on either our Hollywood Sign Tour or our Hollywood Sign Hike.
