Gulf Shores Paddleboard Rental

Our SUP rentals are held on Little Lagoon within the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This location features calm, protected, shallow waters ideal for paddleboarding. Please note that our operations are exclusive to this site, and we are the only company legally permitted to offer rentals here.

During the summer months, we recommend booking the 8 or 9am time slots to avoid the high heat index and winds that can pick up later in the day. Mornings are generally the best time for calm and pleasant conditions.

Each SUP rental is for 1 hour. If conditions are good, we typically don’t mind if you keep the paddleboards a little longer, but most people find that an hour is perfect, especially in the hot Alabama sun.

This rental is best suited for experienced paddlers. If you or anyone in your group has never paddleboarded before, we highly recommend taking our lesson and tour, which includes a land lesson followed by a 1-hour guided experience with in-water coaching from our expert guides.

While paddleboarding on Little Lagoon, you might encounter a variety of wildlife, including coastal shorebirds, ospreys, herons, sting rays, pelicans, bald eagles, hermit crabs, and many other bird species and small fish.

Absolutely! If some members of your group prefer kayaking while others want to paddleboard, just make a separate reservation for kayaks here for the same date and time.

Yes, advanced reservations are required and must be made by 7 PM the evening before, though early booking is strongly recommended.

A minimum of 2 people is required.

Simply paddle back onto the beach, and our team will help you bring in the paddleboard. After that, you’re free to enjoy the rest of your day in Gulf Shores!
