About

Known as the “Splash & Dash,” this introductory whitewater rafting trip through our national kayak course provides thrilling rapids and Class III rafting. You will also see historical Old West landmarks and hear stories about the early days of Durango. All of our Durango rafting trips include the famous white water park and smelter rapids. Our 2.5-hour Durango river rafting trips are a great option for the busy traveler who wants to have a rafting experience but is short on time.

For those looking to spend more time on the river, we recommend our 4.5 -Hour Half-Day raft trip.

What to Bring

Please no flip-flops sandals.
Sturdy footwear like old tennis shoes work great we also rent river shoes.
Our Rafts do not have storage, please leave all personal items in the hotel room or vehicle.
Wallets, keys, and phones can be left in our complimentary secure lockers.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations

We have the best cancellation policy in town: Simply put, if the need arises to cancel after you reserve your adventure; we require a 72-hour notice prior to your departure date to get a full refund. Unfortunately in the event of missing a trip for any reason (someone gets sick, or no calls no show) other than us canceling the trip, there will be zero refunds. Please do not ask to be the exception. This goes for emergency room visits, COVID, and worst-case scenarios. We know things happen. However, once within the 72-hour time frame, your tickets become nonrefundable. If you are looking for more peace of mind check out our Trip Insurance option:

You are now in Durango, Colorado a place with a chance of “anything.” If Mother Nature decides to add to the adventure, all trips will continue to run as scheduled. We adventure rain, snow, sleet, or shine.

Trip Insurance option:

For only 8% of your booking total, your whole group can get trip protection that allows you to cancel any time 24 hours BEFORE your trip launch date and get a full refund. If you cancel within 24 hours of your trip date you will receive a full refund in the form of a non-expiring gift card.

Multi-day raft trip cancelations

All Multi-day trips have a cancelation window of 14 days (336 hours). Cancel any time 14 before you schedule launch time and get a full refund. If you need to cancel within 14 days there will be no refund.
