Get ready for two hours of pure island fun with a paddleboard rental right from the San Juan Bay Marina—your gateway to gliding across calm Caribbean water and exploring one of the most beautiful urban lagoons in Puerto Rico. Start your adventure by paddling out of the marina and slipping right under the bridge into the famous Condado Lagoon, where the water turns crystal clear and the city skyline meets tropical nature.

Once inside the lagoon, you’re free to explore at your own pace. Cruise along the mangrove edges, look for starfish and manatees in the shallows, paddle toward the floating platforms for a quick rest, or drift in the sun with Condado’s colorful buildings framed behind you. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and excitement—whether you're paddling hard for exercise or taking it slow to enjoy the views.

No experience? No problem. We include a short, easy lesson before you head out, covering equipment basics, the surroundings, and our favorite spots to check out. All you have to do is hop on your board and let the lagoon do the rest. Two hours is just enough time for a mini-escape, a workout, and some unforgettable memories in one of San Juan’s most iconic waterways.

Please look right for our shop to check in and receive your rental.
Please arrive punctually (at least 15 minutes before your reservation).
There is parking available along with access to showers and bathrooms, but this may become limited during peak hours or events.

Ages & Requirements

A minimum age of 10 years old is required. All children under 18 years old must be accompanied by a participating adult.
The rental provider does not list a specific weight limit for their boards. However, most quality inflatable paddleboards of similar size comfortably hold 250–300 lbs (113–136 kg), and higher-end models can support a bit more (350 lbs / 159 kg).

Wildlife Guidelines

Please be respectful of the fact that coral is a living organism and any standing, touching, or knocking over will irreparably damage the organism that takes a very long time to grow and is essential to our marine reefs. Please also be respectful of any marine animals including but not limited to turtles, rays, sharks, seals, and dolphins. Please never chase, harass, feed, or TOUCH any of the marine species. Enjoy their company if they approach from a distance and calmly move away from them if in their path.

FAQs

Can I go if I’ve never gone paddleboarding before?

Yes you can! The lagoon’s waters are the perfect place to try paddleboarding for the first time due to the calm waters. Paddleboarding is easy to learn, but we caution you... it is very addictive!

What if I fall off my paddleboard?

Falling off a paddleboard is extremely common when learning how to use an SUP for the first time and even common as an experienced paddleboarder! A leash is attached to the board and should stay attached to your ankle at all times so when you fall off the board does not float away and you can use the leash to pull it back towards you. If you are a weak/inexperienced swimmer or have a fear of the water, we recommend you wear your flotation at all times while in the kayak.

What kind of wildlife might I see?

Condado Lagoon is home to the Caribbean Manatee. For the best chance of seeing the manatees, we recommend visiting the lagoon in the morning, and midweek when it is less crowded. You might also encounter sea turtles and a variety of birds that call the mangroves home.

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
