About

All of the rafting trips start at the same location, however, the 4.5-Hour Rafting trip continues further downstream. Also, we pull over for a riverside snack and a chance to swim. Swimming is depending on weather and river flows This stretch of the Animas River is beautiful with lots of opportunities to spot wildlife in the natural habitat and enjoy the scenery. You will be spending about 2 to 2.5 hours on the water depending on river flow.

What to Know

Sturdy footwear with a back strap, old tennis shoes plus we rent river shoes.
Please no flip flops sandals.
Our rafts do not have storage, please leave all personal items in hotel room or vehicle.
Wallets, keys, and phones can be left in the bus.
Masks/Face coverings are required for the bus ride to and from the water but are not required while on the raft.

Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled adventure time to 360 S. Camino Del Rio.
Parking is available on site.
Restrooms & changing areas are accessible on-site.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations

We have the best cancellation policy in town: Simply put, if the need arises to cancel after you reserve your adventure; we require a 72-hour notice prior to your departure date to get a full refund. Unfortunately in the event of missing a trip for any reason (someone gets sick, or no calls no show) other than us canceling the trip, there will be zero refunds. Please do not ask to be the exception. This goes for emergency room visits, COVID, and worst-case scenarios. We know things happen. However, once within the 72-hour time frame, your tickets become nonrefundable. If you are looking for more peace of mind check out our Trip Insurance option:

You are now in Durango, Colorado a place with a chance of “anything.” If Mother Nature decides to add to the adventure, all trips will continue to run as scheduled. We adventure rain, snow, sleet, or shine.

Trip Insurance option:

For only 8% of your booking total, your whole group can get trip protection that allows you to cancel any time 24 hours BEFORE your trip launch date and get a full refund. If you cancel within 24 hours of your trip date you will receive a full refund in the form of a non-expiring gift card.

Multi-day raft trip cancelations

All Multi-day trips have a cancelation window of 14 days (336 hours). Cancel any time 14 before you schedule launch time and get a full refund. If you need to cancel within 14 days there will be no refund.
