"We were delighted with the friendly, helpful service provided by Cottam's staff. Joe, Camden, Johnna, and the manager, Doug were terrific. They outfitted our daughters with everything they needed to enjoy their first time in ski school at Santa Fe basin. Cottam's also provided the girls' first slope experience -- sledding behind Cottam's before. ~We'll return next year and look forward to renting gear from Cottam's! Great service. This place is no exception, the line was too long as we were on their busiest days of the year during spring break. The Manager Doug, and Chris, Johnna helped us with our Ski gear rental. All three were exceptional, very personable, and really friendly. I would go crazy working at such a busy shop, but they maintained their peace, smiled and greeted everyone with warmth. We had to go 2 or 3 times there within a week to rent initially, add a rental and return and all three times, we experienced the same great service. Would definitely return to this place :-)

"The staff is super friendly and helpful, but it seems like they are easily overwhelmed by big groups. We did a quick trip up to Santa Fe and stopped at Cottam's to rent some skis for my two kids, but another group of maybe 6 folks were ahead of us. We got there at 820AM, but didn't end up getting out of the shop with skis, boots, and single helmet in hand until almost 915A. While the service was a bit slow, I think it beat the wait times when we got into the resort (massive lines up there on Saturday). I recommend doing the reservations, I don't know if that would have helped the overall time. Just note that I was not able to make a reservation the night prior; sort of inconvenient in that aspect as we sometimes decide to ski just the day before. I will for sure try doing a reservation ahead of time because I absolutely will stop by the shop again as I was very happy with the equipment. The skis were in great shape and the boots did the job. SUPER impressed with the kid's helmet, it was pristine. Overall, the shop is great, they have quite a bit of options in terms of equipment, but my best bet is that it's best to get there early and beat the rush (a HUGE group got there just after we finished our transaction), I hope it all went well! See you guys next time, as the crew was friendly and very welcoming."
