Description

E-bike Rentals - Zion National Park

An e-bike rental in Zion National Park allows you to bike the park road at your own pace and stop where you want to stop rather than take the shuttle. Skip the crowds, the lines and the shuttle, and ride a bike with pedal assist instead!

You can ride a bike up the scenic drive where you’ll find amazing hikes like Angels Landing and The Narrows. You can lock the bikes up in the canyon at any trailhead or car pullout and go for a hike. E-bikes are hands down the best way to get around Zion, but let's not forget about Springdale as well. Once you’ve enjoyed your day up in the canyon we encourage you to head out to dinner in town or go shopping with the bikes. Springdale parking can be a big challenge and the bikes erase the need to hassle with parking.

About the Bike Rentals

We have multiple types of e-bikes to fit your riding style. Helmets and bike locks are included in every rental. Add in a hiking stick and/or a Burley Trailer!

When you arrive you’ll have to sign a waiver, grab a helmet, and then take our bike class. (Don’t worry, it’s actually fun!) We work hard to ensure you feel comfortable with the operation of the bike and know exactly where you’re going, and how to get help if any issues arise.

We do not currently allow bookings of specific colors. You may select the color of your choice once you arrive based on availability. We know you'll find one you love.

Location and Parking

Our shop is located just outside of Zion National Park in Springdale, UT - a very short bike ride into the park.

Pickup Address: 358 Zion Park Blvd. Springdale Ut, 84767

Parking: pull into the parking lot where Feel Love Coffee shop is and you’ll see us at the back of the parking lot. We have spots reserved for customers but those spaces do occasionally fill up. If that happens just get in touch with us and we’ll give you the next best option. Any vehicles over 22′ will have to park nearby on Lion Park Blvd where there’s space for RV’s, large vans, etc.

Early Bird Special

The Early Bird Special allows you access to bikes starting at 5:00 am on the day of your reservation. But, please note you MUST be present the night before your morning ride to take a class. The class begins at 6:00 pm and there is only 1 class.

Take a class the evening before your rental and get familiar with navigation, bike operation, and procedures. You will receive keys to unlock your individual rack locks to get your bikes in the morning. Do not lose these keys! We cannot get spares duplicated for these locks and you will be charged to replace the lock.

On the morning of your ride, your bikes will be on the racks out in front of the shop. Use the key you were given to unlock your rack locks and grab your bikes. Leave the rack locks and place the keys in the lockbox. Your bike will have a bike lock (cable lock) that you can use to Lock them up in the canyon.

Yes. Think of the bikes as a shuttle replacement. You can ride up the scenic drive, lock up the bikes with our provided locks at the trailhead, and go on any hike you would like. You’ll avoid the shuttles, and the crowds, and have the best bike ride of your life. Riding up the scenic drive is spectacular.

How long of a ride is it from bike pick to the Zion National Park entrance?

The pickup location is only 0.2 miles from the park entrance

Is there a bike path on the way to Zion National Park?

Yes, there is a bike path to get to the park.

Can you lock the electric bikes up at the Zion National Park shuttle stops?

Yes, you can lock the bikes up and the bikes come with bike locks and helmets.

How long will the batteries last on the e-bikes?

You can ride the bikes for at least 30 miles on high levels of assistance which will easily get you up the canyon and back. It’s 18 miles from our shop to the top of the canyon and back. For those trying to go up and down the canyon more than one time, you’ll need to be more conservative with your speed and assistance. Most riders only ride around 18 miles and people have ridden up to 40 miles.

Are the electric bikes pedal-assist or throttle enabled?

The bikes are only pedal assist as throttled e-bikes are illegal in National Parks.

Do you rent electric bikes in Zion to anyone under 18 years old?

Yes, we rent to kids as low as 14 years old. If you have kids under that age, you may be able to get them their own bikes or have them ride on the back of your cargo-style e-bike meant to carry multiple passengers.

Can I keep the Zion electric bikes overnight?

Yes, we do offer overnight rentals. However, we take it on a case-by-case basis so please call us to discuss if we can get that set up for you. If the circumstances are right we will have you come in the evening before your reservation and give you the instructions, bike class, maps, and detail out the procedures. Then you can take the bikes overnight for a great ride the next day.

What time do the the electric bike rental classes start each morning?

The rental classes start at 8 AM each morning. You can also take the class the evening before and pick up the rentals in the morning. The class before your rental gets you familiar with navigation, bike operation, and procedures.

What time are the Zion bike rentals due back by?

The bike rentals are due back by 8 PM local time.

Cancellation Policy

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
