Rehoboth Bay Wind-SUP Rentals at Dewey Beach

Get out on Rehoboth Bay with our Wind-SUP rentals, a fun and dynamic way to combine stand-up paddleboarding with windsurfing. Designed for guests who already know how to windsurf, these rentals are perfect for the protected bay waters. With advance notice, your Wind-SUP and sail will be fully rigged and ready to go when you arrive, so you can spend less time setting up and more time on the water.

To keep things easy and comfortable, you’ll paddle a short distance by kayak from the dock to your Wind-SUP, which will be staged over a sandy bottom just beyond the salt marsh. Each rental includes the Wind-SUP, a sail sized to your height, weight, and ability, and essential safety equipment. Whether you’re looking for a quick two-hour session or a longer day on the bay, this is a great way to enjoy steady winds and open space in one of Delaware’s best windsurfing locations.

Location of Rental Pickup

Free delivery is available within Dewey Beach for full-day and multi-day rentals; delivery outside the area is available for an additional cost. Two-hour rentals can be picked up at our concession stand.

Our rental concession is located behind the Bay Resort Waterfront Hotel. This central Dewey Beach location offers quick, direct access to calm Rehoboth Bay waters.

Use the Park Mobile App in season, and please do not back in to your parking space to avoid getting a ticket.

You must know how to windsurf before renting windsurfing gear. If you have no prior experience, see lessons here.
Ages 12+ (Must be aged 16 and up to rent equipment without an adult. An adult, however, should stay on site with anyone under 18.)

Our dock staff is happy to help answer questions, review launch procedures, and make sure you’re comfortable before heading out.

Are Wind-SUP rentals available for off-site use?

Yes. Rentals may be used off-site as long as you’re able to safely transport the equipment. You can pick up your gear directly from our concession stand, or arrange delivery to an alternate location for an additional fee.

Can I use my rental in the ocean?

If you plan to use your rental on the ocean side of Dewey Beach (out of the bay), ocean launch rules and lifeguard regulations apply. Ocean conditions are more dynamic and are recommended only for experienced windsurfers.
