If you are looking for an exciting full-day rafting trip, this is the trip for you. This stretch of the Colorado River is a mix of calm and wild rapids for 17.6 miles from Westwater Ranger Station to the Cisco take-out. There will be sections of calm water to take in the views and the stunning canyon walls, with a long stretch of consistent Class III-IV rapids. Finish the day with a nice calm stretch of water to the take-out at Cisco.

Westwater Canyon is a hidden gem of the Colorado River, offering a breathtaking mix of towering red rock cliffs, polished black schist canyons, and sweeping desert landscapes. As you float through this remote wilderness, you’ll be surrounded by rugged sandstone formations, ancient rock layers, and the occasional sighting of bighorn sheep, eagles, and otters. Between the adrenaline-pumping rapids, take in the serene beauty of the canyon, where the solitude of the desert and the power of the river combine for an unforgettable rafting experience.
Meet us at the designated location from your confirmation email, where you'll gear up and push off for a full-day adventure through Westwater Canyon. Start the morning with a scenic float before tackling 11 exhilarating Class III-IV rapids, beginning with Little Dolores, navigating the infamous Skull, and finishing strong at Last Chance.
