Verde River Tubing Adventure
Looking for cool fun in the sun that the whole family will enjoy? Embark on a self-guided tubing adventure on the Verde River for some fun in the sun while near Sedona or the Verde Valley! This "Tubing Madness" adventure is the perfect activity for the whole family to enjoy. You can enjoy a relaxing float or paddle down the river at your own pace, and take as many shuttle rides back up to the put-in as you'd like to spend a full day on the water. This scenic stretch of the Verde River has just enough chutes and riffles to add a bit of excitement without ruffling any feathers.
Your adventure begins at Alcantara Vineyard, where you will meet the shuttle guide. You will be shuttled upstream about 10 minutes to the river access point where your tubing adventure begins. Your shuttle guide will provide you with paddles, instructions, and river knowledge and help you launch into the river. Remember to ask for water cannons for extra fun!
Your river trip ends in the shade of giant Cottonwood trees at the confluence of Oak Creek and the Verde River. Here you will take the gravel path up through the vineyards to the Tuscan farmhouse at the Alcantara Vineyards. It takes approximately 2-3 hours to float back to the vineyard. You are welcome to stay as long as you like at the beach or visit the Vineyard Winery.

How long does the float take?
The float takes about 2 hours depending on conditions. We provide unlimited shuttles so you can spend the whole day on the river and do as many runs as you'd like!
Where do we leave our belongings while we're on the river?
You'll meet at Alcantra Vineyards, where you'll have the opportunity to change into river attire and leave any personal belongings in your car. Your driver will pick you up and drive you 15 minutes to the river launch site. You'll receive paddling instructions and river information from your driver, and then you'll float back to the vineyard where your belongings and car are located.
