Only Minutes away from Mount Pleasant, SC. Paddle along the upper sections of the Iconic Wando River, one of the 3 rivers that make up the Charleston Harbor. This is a very beautiful natural salt and brackish marsh habitat home to many shorebirds, crabs, fish, shrimp, the occasional Dolphin and even a rare alligator. Learn about the importance of this diverse marsh habitat. This area is also rich in Native American and Early European History. Learn about the Native American people who lived in the area dating back 4000 years as well as the pre-colonial and early American Settlers that made this area their home. The Sunset tour ends with a beautiful South Carolina Lowcountry Sunset.

2. Paddle Alone: 14 and over
   
3. Max weight: Single: 325 lbs, Tandem 550 lbs, Canoe 700 lbs, and Paddleboard 250 lbs

What to Bring / Wear

1. Clothes you do not mind getting wet and shoes that stay on feet are preferred
   
2. Water
   
3. Sunscreen, Hat, Sunglasses.
   
4. During the summer months: Bug Spray (the bugs can be bad at landing and meeting area, they are never a problem on the water.)
   
5. During the Winter Months: Fleece and Wind Breaking Material are best, also dress in layers so you can take off/put on layers as needed.
