Description

Umpqua River Multi-Day Rafting & Adventure Package for Groups

Join us for two days and two nights on a wild and scenic whitewater adventure on Oregon’s “Emerald-Jewel”, the Umpqua River, as you “glamp” in style in a luxury tent along the riverbank at Umpqua’s Last Resort. This multi-day trip offers a rare and unique opportunity to adventure off the beaten path in the heart of Oregon’s North Umpqua Forest. Enjoy over 10 hours of river time, homecooked elevated meals, endless opportunities to explore nearby wilderness attractions, and the chance to unplug with your family and friends.
Your morning will start with a hot breakfast cooked by one of our guides, followed by a briefing on the section of river you will be running. We generally put-in on the river between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. A typical day on the water includes five hours of rafting, a lunch break, swimming breaks, and wildlife viewing, as well as all transportation to and from the river. The North Umpqua River offers more rapids per mile than any other river in Oregon! While paddling your way through the lush mossy forest and fern-covered banks, you can expect stretches of calm riffles, some surfy class 2 wave rapids like Weepers before hitting the thrilling class 3 rapids, Frogger and Pinball. On your first day you will cover 11.5 miles of river, and 14 miles on your second day.
Each day we will take-out of the river between 2:00-3:00 p.m., then shuttle you back to the resort — from there, the rest of the afternoon is up to you! Hit the North Umpqua trail and go hiking or biking, hop on a shuttle to one of the area’s waterfalls, take yourself on an adventure to one of the nearby wilderness attractions like Crater Lake National Park, or just relax by the water with a book. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m both Friday and Saturday evenings. On Sunday after a delicious breakfast, you will pack up and check out of your accommodations before we begin rafting.
