Waves firing but you didn't bring a board — or don't own one yet? Rent a soft-top surfboard and get straight out to Wrightsville Beach on your own schedule. Soft-tops are a forgiving, beginner-friendly choice that also works well for experienced surfers who just need a board for the day.
Boards are available in a range of sizes to suit different heights and skill levels, from compact shortboards up to full-length longboards, and pick-up is quick and easy — just a short walk from the sand.

- 1 day
- Daily rental, picked up any time from 9am and returned by 8pm the same day (not a full 24-hour period)
Location / Where to Meet
- Rental gear is picked up and dropped off at Surf City Surf Shop, 530 Causeway Dr, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480, about 1/4 mile from the beach
- Pick-up is available any time starting at 9am — the pick-up time selected when booking online just guarantees your gear is ready by that time, but you're welcome to grab it later in the day
- Return gear to the surf shop by 8pm and let staff know you've returned it

What time can I pick up and drop off my board?
Pick-up is available any time starting at 9am; the online booking time just guarantees your gear will be ready by then. Boards are due back by 8pm the same day.
Is this a full 24-hour rental?
No — it's a daily rate covering 9am to 8pm, not a full 24 hours. Renting from 1pm until dark, for example, is still billed as one day.
