Private Surfing Lesson on Miami Beach with SoBe Surf

Catch your first waves with SoBe Surf, Miami’s oldest and most respected surfing school! With over 20 years of experience, we specialize in providing quality surfing lessons for kids and adults of all ages, skill levels, and abilities. Our private surfing lessons offer personalized, one-on-one coaching to help you or your private group learn to surf over a 1.5-hour session. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills, our enthusiastic and patient instructors will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time in the water.

What to Expect

Duration: 1.5 hours

Location: South Beach, Miami (Meet in front of the 2nd lifeguard tower from the inlet at the southern end of Miami Beach/South Beach)

Lesson Breakdown:

Ground School: Brief on-land session to learn proper techniques and ocean safety (5 minutes)
In-Water Coaching: The remainder of the lesson is spent in the water, where you'll receive attentive coaching on paddling, timing, and proper form

Personalized Instruction: One-on-one coaching tailored to your skill level and goals

Family-Friendly: Great for families, couples, and friends with small group options

Safety First: Lessons in shallow water with a sandy bottom, in front of a lifeguard tower

Requirements

Swimming Skills: Students must know how to swim
Minimum Age: No age restrictions as long as swimming ability is met

Booking Details

How to Book: Click on the “Book Now” button on our website, select your date and time, and pay online. After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with meeting instructions.

Availability: 7 days a week, with lessons typically starting between 8 am and 5 pm. Mornings are recommended for better surf conditions and easier parking.

Meeting Point: In front of the 2nd lifeguard tower from the inlet at the southern end of Miami Beach/South Beach.

Parking: Available at public meters, public parking lots, or valet at Nikki Beach Club.

Arrive 15-20 minutes early to find parking and walk to the meeting point

Cancellation Policy

Customers will receive a full refund with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
