Whether you're trying surfing for the first time or just want a fun beach day activity, we've got you covered with quality surfboards, boogie boards, and skim boards—perfect for all ages and skill levels.
Rent by the hour or for the whole day right from our Outside Hilton Head – Westin Beachfront Outpost, just steps from the sand. It’s a fun, active way to enjoy the ocean with no hassle—just grab your board and go!

Are rentals open to the public or just Westin guests?
Rentals are open to everyone—both Westin guests and the general public are welcome to rent and enjoy!
Do I need experience to rent a surf or skim board?
Not at all! Our boards are beginner-friendly, and our beach team can offer quick tips to get you started.
Are wetsuits or life jackets included?
No. Wetsuits and life jackets are not included with rentals. Most guests wear swimwear or rash guards. Life jackets aren’t typically needed for beach activities, but feel free to bring your own if preferred.
Cancellation Policy
We accept cancellations up to 48 hours in advance of the scheduled time of your tour or program.
Any cancellation made after that deadline will result in a charge for the full amount of the reservation.
