What is the Sunrise Paddle + Sound Bath?

Sunrise Paddle + Sound Bath is a peaceful, self-guided morning paddle and wellness experience designed to help you start your day feeling refreshed, centered, and connected to nature. Enjoy open paddle time, lakeside coffee and pastries, and a guided on-water sound bath meditation.

Is this a guided tour?

No—this is not a guided paddle tour. The Sunrise Paddle + Sound Bath is a community wellness event that combines self-paced paddling with a professionally facilitated sound bath session. You’ll have plenty of freedom to paddle, relax, and socialize at your own pace.

Do I need paddleboarding or kayaking experience?

Not at all! This event is beginner-friendly and open to all skill levels. Rocky Mountain Paddleboard staff provide safety instruction and launch support, making it easy for first-time paddlers to participate confidently.

Can I bring my own paddleboard or kayak?

Yes! Guests are welcome to bring their own board for a reduced event fee while still enjoying the sound bath, coffee bar, fresh pastries, and community experience.

What is a sound bath?

A sound bath is a meditative wellness experience using soothing sounds and vibrations from instruments such as crystal bowls, chimes, or gongs to promote relaxation, mindfulness, and stress relief.

Do I need to reserve in advance?

Yes, we highly recommend reserving in advance to ensure availability. Event capacity is limited to 50 guests.

Do I need to pay a park entry fee at Georgetown Lake?

No - access to Georgetown Lake for paddleboarding or kayaking from our rental location is free. Simply check in at our shop on the water and start your adventure.

What if the weather is bad?

We totally get that weather can be unpredictable! If the conditions aren’t great, we’re happy to reschedule or hook you up with a raincheck to use anytime. Just a heads-up—park entrance fees might not be refundable, so keep an eye on your email for updates.

What kind of weather would cause a cancellation?

Safety is our top priority! A couple of quick rules: If there’s lightning nearby (or on the way) or if winds hit 15+ MPH, it’s a no-go.

Since Colorado’s weather changes fast, we do 30-minute weather holds and reassess after that. We’ll always keep you in the loop!

Cancellation Policy

72 hours’ notice to receive a full refund for all events.
In the case of inclement weather, we will issue a digital gift card for the full amount of your purchase. These gift cards expire two seasons after issuance and are valid at any RMP location.
Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds for no-call/no-show reservations.
Reservations not claimed 30 minutes after the scheduled start time will be considered forfeited.
