Is the hike hard?
This hike is rated "easy" by all sites. We take it slow, and rest often to ensure it's enjoyable for all skill levels
Can I get there without a car?
Uber/Lyft both run to/from the trail. There is no public transportation to Red Rocks.
Can I get altitude sickness at Red Rocks?
While Red Rocks (6,400 feet) isn’t extremely high, some people coming from sea level may experience mild symptoms like shortness of breath, fatigue, or lightheadedness—especially during exercise. To help your body adjust, we recommend:
- Drinking plenty of water 24 hours before and during the hike
- Avoiding alcohol and sleeping pills the night before
- Taking it slow and steady on the trail
Most people acclimate just fine, but if you’re concerned, speak with your healthcare provider before your trip.
Is this available as a private trip?

What if I'm not a morning person?
We get it—sunrises are early! But they’re also magical. Once you're sipping hot coffee with Red Rocks glowing around you, you'll be glad you came.

We hike rain or shine, but if conditions are unsafe (like lightning), we’ll cancel or reschedule. We’ll contact you the day before with any weather updates.
Do I need to be an experienced hiker?
Nope! This hike is suitable for beginners, families, and folks who just want to take in the views at a relaxed pace.

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation if they cancel at least 24 hours before the reservation date. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by email to cancel or inquire about a cancellation.
