Half-Day Whitewater Rafting Trip - Spokane River

Ready for the most adventurous stretch of the Spokane River? This whitewater adventure takes you through a hidden slice of nature right in the city, where you'll find stunning scenery, wildlife sightings, calm swimming holes, and exciting Class III rapids.
We’ll meet in Peaceful Valley and get you outfitted with everything you need—including wetsuits when necessary. After a quick safety briefing and paddling overview, you’ll hit the water with your expert guide leading the way.
Your guide will navigate you through two exciting Class III rapids. First, you’ll take on “Bowl and Pitcher”, a powerful wave train that rushes beneath the iconic swinging bridge of Riverside State Park. Then comes “Devil’s Toenail”, a technical and splash-filled ride guaranteed to get your heart pumping.
While on the Spokane River, we will be passing by Hangman’s Creek, “The Big Bend,” Downriver disc golf course, the Spokane Rifle Range, and Fairmont Memorial Park, to name a few notable surroundings. While going around the “Big Bend,” you will see a beautiful wall of swallow nests. On a typical day, there is plenty of wildlife to be seen, such as ducks, geese, deer, and even the occasional moose. And to think- you can take in all these sights while still in the city limits of Spokane!
This three-hour trip wraps up with a cooler full of refreshing post-trip beverages for all ages—because nothing beats a cold drink after a day on the river! The Spokane River offers some of the best whitewater rafting near Spokane—don’t miss your chance to experience this stretch of river!
