24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY FOR ALL TOURS

Dive Kauai's BOAT DIVES are something you won’t want to miss! However, we do understand that things happen and you may be required to cancel or postpone your dive(s). For this reason, we have developed various policies we feel accommodate circumstances that may be beyond your control.

Tours reserved within the 24 hour period of time before the start time will be considered FINAL RESERVATIONS, not eligible for a refund

*** Regular Tours cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled date and time of the tour will not be charged any fees to credit card on file***(This is calculated down to the minute! If tour is at 7:30am, you have until 7:29am Hawaii time the day before)

Regular Tours cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled date and time of the tour or customers who do not show up to the scheduled tour will be charged 100% of the tour total(This is calculated down to the minute! If tour is at 7:30am, you have until 7:29am Hawaii time the day before)

Private Charters cancelled up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled date and time of the tour will not be charged any fees to credit card on file (This is calculated down to the minute! If tour is at 7:30am, you have until 7:29am Hawaii time the day before)

Private Charters cancelled less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled date and time of the tour or private charters who do not show up to the scheduled tour will be charged 100% of the tour total(This is calculated down to the minute! If tour is at 7:30am, you have until 7:29am Hawaii time the day before)

***If you are late and the tour has had to start with out you, this will be considered a day of cancellation and not eligible for a refund of any kind!

***If you opt to abort or cancel one or both dives during the dive tour, for any reason, this will be considered a day of cancellation and not eligible for a refund of any kind!

Experienced Divers Only During Summer Months (Late May/June through September/Early October)

Due to our water conditions here in Kauai, we cannot guarantee the calm bath waters of other places you may have been diving. Therefore, we do have minimum requirements to board our vessel. This would be 20 logged dives OR have been diving in the last 6 months. (If you have recently been diving with us or completed a certification course with us, your instructor may also approve your diving for our boat dives.) If it becomes evident that you do not have the experience necessary to be safely diving from our boat before or during the trip, our divemasters have FULL AUTHORITY to set you on the boat and not allow you to dive. If this should happen, we cannot offer a refund at this point because the space was already taken and could have been used by someone more qualified. If you feel you may not be qualified for this dive please call and speak with one of our Reservations Specialists and we'll be able to help: 808.742.7422. Please Note: if you call within 24 hours of your scheduled tour time, we may not be able to reschedule you or refund either in accordance with our cancellation policy. So please call us BEFORE the 24 hour cancellation period begins.
**Rest of year will have boats labeled as "Beginner" or "Experienced"

PLEASE NOTE: For YOUR SAFETY you cannot participate in any activity above 1000' or 300 meters in elevation within 18 hours after diving. This includes driving and hiking to Waimea Canyon, Taking a Helicopter or Airplane Tour of the island as well as departing island in a commercial aircraft (even if just flying to Oahu). Our staff will have your safety in mind and may prevent you from participating in the scheduled dive. This would result in being considered a "DAY OF CANCELLATION" and therefore will not be eligible for any refund of any kind. If you made a reservation less than 18 hours prior to going above 1000' or 300 meters in elevation, please contact our office outside 48 hours to cancel or reschedule your tour. If you are within our 24 hour cancellation period, the cancellation policy will be in full effect.
