Snowshoe Rentals at Enchanted Forest

Experience the serene beauty of Enchanted Forest at your own pace with our high-quality snowshoe rentals—perfect for exploring the peaceful winter trails that wind through the forest. Because our trails are typically well-packed, we offer not only traditional snowshoes with metal crampons for traction, but also Crescent Moon’s innovative foam snowshoes, including the Eva, Luna, and Kids’ models.

The award-winning Eva Snowshoes are crafted from expandable polymer—the same material used in running and athletic shoes—making them exceptionally light, flexible, and comfortable. They move naturally with your stride, offering a smooth and quiet experience ideal for beginners, snowshoe runners, and day hikers alike. The Luna is a smaller version of the Eva, designed for a similar feel with a more compact footprint, while the Kids’ Foam Snowshoes provide young adventurers with stability and comfort on the snow.

Whether you’re new to snowshoeing or a seasoned winter explorer, our rental fleet ensures a fun, comfortable, and low-impact way to enjoy the magic of Enchanted Forest.

What to Bring / Wear

Breathable fleece or stretch mid layer for insulation

FAQs

I don’t have warm, waterproof winter boots for snowshoeing. Does Enchanted Forest provide winter boots for this activity?

Yes! You can use your own boots if you wish or we provide winter boots and poles at no additional charge.

While I am snowshoeing, what should I do with my shoes, boots, or other belongings?

We have lockers and shelves to store your shoes or boots while you are out skiing but you may choose to leave your footwear in a locker or in your vehicle. We ask that any additional belongings like jackets, clothing and backpacks be safely stored in a locker or vehicle and not all over the Warming Hut.

When does equipment need to be returned?

All rented equipment is due back by 4:30 pm. If you are running late, please call so we know you are safe.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least three days before your reservation are eligible for a full refund. If you need to cancel less than three days before, no refund will be given, but you may reschedule by calling or emailing us directly—please do not rebook through the website. If Enchanted Forest closes due to severe weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund. No-shows will be charged the full price.
