Beaver Creek & Vail Ski Rental Delivery Service Process

With Ski Butlers Legacy Delivery Service, your ski and snowboard equipment will be delivered directly to your accommodations, with a complete custom fitting and free pickup service included. When you select delivery, you’ll get: 

  • Delivery & Fitting: Your rental equipment is delivered to your lodging at a time that suits you, complete with a custom fitting. 
  • On-Call Support: On-call assistance available throughout your rental for any adjustments or exchanges.
  • Pickup Service: When you're done, Ski Butlers will pick up your equipment—no hassle, no extra trips.

You also have the option to select Express Delivery. This service takes our already convenient rental delivery to the next level by eliminating certain steps you’d typically go through upon arrival, allowing you to maximize your time on the mountain. Here’s how it works: 

  • Pre-Sized Equipment: Based on your renter information and/or previous order history, we will pre-size your snowboards, skis, boots, and accessories. When you arrive at your accommodations, your gear will be there waiting for you ready to go. 
  • Skip the Fit: Unlike our legacy delivery service, there’s no need to wait for your technician at your accommodations. With Ski Butlers Express, you can dive straight into your ski adventure as soon as you arrive. 
  • Support and Pick-up: Even though the delivery process is different, you won’t miss out on any of the benefits. Our on-mountain support and equipment pick-up services are still included, ensuring you have a smooth experience throughout your trip.

Ski Packages

Skis & Boards Only

Already have your own boots? You can rent just skis or snowboards by themselves, without having to purchase the whole package. At checkout, just select “No boots needed” and you’ll see your rate discounted.

Duration

2-Day Minimum.

Pro Tip: Schedule delivery the day before you hit the slopes (2 PM or later) so you can head straight to the lift the next morning.

We can deliver and fit your gear the day before. Select any time after 2:00 PM, and you won’t be charged for that day.

Pick up time is between 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM on the last ski day. You don’t need to be present for pick up as long as your technician can access your gear.

  • Type 1: Skier who designate themselves as [1] receive lower than average ski binding release settings. This corresponds to easier ski binding release in a fall. Recommended for entry-level skiers.
  • Type 2: Skiers who designate themselves as [2] receive average ski binding release settings appropriate for most recreational skiing.
  • Type 3: Skiers who designate themselves as [3] receive higher than average ski binding release settings. This designation is not recommended for skiers 47 lbs. (21 kg) and under.

When does the rental period begin and end?

The rental period begins on the day your equipment is delivered and fitted. It ends on the scheduled pickup date when Ski Butlers collects your gear from your accommodation. Need an extra day? Just contact us, and we can easily extend your rental period.

How does the delivery process work?

Ski Butlers will deliver your rental gear directly to your lodging at a time you choose. A technician will conduct a personalized fitting in your room to ensure that boots, skis, and any accessories are perfectly suited to your needs. If you need any adjustments, our technician can make those on the spot.

What happens if my equipment doesn’t fit or I need adjustments?

Do you provide slipe-side assistance?

Yes! Our team can meet you at the base of the mountain or back at your accommodation for adjustments or replacements. This on-call service ensures that any changes you need are handled promptly so you can maximize your time on the slopes.

How do you select my equipment?

Based on your ability level, terrain preferences, and current snow conditions, our technicians will help choose the most suitable gear from our range of packages.

Do you tune your equipment?

Yes, all equipment is regularly tuned and maintained to provide the best possible performance on the mountain. You’ll receive skis or snowboards that are in top condition and ready for the day’s conditions.

What if I have my own boots?

If you bring your own boots, you’ll receive a $5 discount per rental day. This discount is automatically applied to your booking.

Do you rent helmets, and are they required?

Yes, we offer helmets for both adults and juniors. Helmets are highly recommended for safety, and they are required by most ski schools for children.

What is included in the Damage Insurance?

Damage insurance protects you from any charges related to incidental equipment damage during normal use. However, it does not cover loss, theft, or negligence. The damage waiver is optional, but it provides peace of mind for accidental scrapes or minor damage.

What if I need to reschedule my fitting?

If your plans change, simply contact Ski Butlers to reschedule your fitting. We’re flexible and happy to adjust your fitting time to accommodate your arrival or other needs.

Can I pick up my gear instead of having it delivered?

Ski Butlers is a delivery-only service, so all rentals include free delivery and in-room fitting. This service is designed to save you time and provide maximum convenience.

Are you locally owned and operated?

Ski Butlers operates locally in each market with staff who know the area well. Our technicians bring local expertise and personalized recommendations to make your ski rental experience enjoyable and seamless.

Will I get a refund if I want to take a day off in the middle of my trip?

How do I return my equipment?

Can I upgrade my boots to a premium option?

Yes, High Performance boots are available for advanced skiers looking for extra comfort and control. Just mention this preference during your booking or to your technician.
