Description

Half-Day Skagit River Whitewater Rafting Trip

This scenic and splashy Skagit River whitewater rafting trip is the perfect introduction to rafting in the Pacific Northwest. Flowing through the stunning North Cascades National Park, the Upper Skagit offers a mix of fun, family-friendly rapids and gorgeous mountain views. With playful Class II–III+ whitewater, crystal-clear glacial runoff, and expert guides leading the way, this trip balances excitement with education—ideal for first-timers, families, and groups.

You'll paddle roughly 9 miles downriver, navigating lively sections like the S-Bends (our biggest Class III rapid), playing on waves, and taking in the lush, mossy beauty of old-growth forests. Along the way, guides share river safety instruction, local geology, and native history for a deeper connection to the waterway.
Expect a full experience: gear fitting, shuttle, in-depth safety talk, and a river run with just the right mix of calm floats and thrilling splashes. The trip ends with a shuttle ride back to your vehicle and plenty of stories to share. Whether you’re starting your rafting journey or easing into the season, this trip is the ideal balance of nature, whitewater, and adventure.
