Paddle Scenic Turtle Beach Near Tampa, Florida!
Away from all the hustle and bustle of Siesta Key, is our favorite local beach, Turtle Beach. It is only a few short miles from the main Siesta Key beach to Turtle Beach and the Sarasota County trolley will drop you right there. Not only is this area such a beautiful and quiet place, it is also a great place to paddle!
We offer single and double kayak rentals as well as stand up paddleboards and surfboard rentals at this location. The kayaks and paddleboards are perfect to explore the beautiful surrounding waterways. Don't worry about getting lost---we will supply you a map and give you some pointers about the area and where to go paddle to have a good chance of seeing wildlife.
The surfboards/boogie boards can be walked across the parking lot to some great little waves at Turtle Beach.
All equipment comes with the necessary safety equipment.

What is better about Turtle Beach?
This beach is much quieter than the more popular Siesta Key beach. This allows for more wildlife to thrive including manatees, mangroves, and abundance of birds, and aquatic life.
What is the break like at this beach?
Break conditions vary by season and weather. This beach is mostly calm with seasonal waves adequate for surfing. The mangroves provide relief from wind and currents, creating a safe exploratory space for paddlers within their canals.
How do I get there?
There is a small parking lot by the beach for personal vehicles, there is also a Sarasota County trolley system that will drop guests off right on the beach.
Are changing rooms/bathrooms available on site?
Bathrooms are available for public use and located at the top of the beach parking lot.
