In 1 to 3 hours, Kauaʻi Hiking Adventures packs in a private, customized exploration of the East Side's most accessible natural highlights: cascading waterfalls, lush jungle overlooks, coastal scenery, and mountain ridge views. No two tours are the same — your guide tailors the experience to your group's interests, pace, and fitness level before you ever set foot on a trail.
Founded in 2005, Kauaʻi Hiking Adventures has guided thousands of visitors through the island's most spectacular terrain. All tours are completely private — your group will never be combined with strangers. Guides share deep knowledge of Kauaʻi's plants, history, and Hawaiian culture as you move through the landscape.
Speedy hikers may tackle Nounou Mountain (aka Sleeping Giant), Kuilau Ridge with sweeping views of Mount Waiʻaleʻale, or a short coastal hike on the South Shore. If time allows, the tour can be extended and adjusted on the fly.
Duration
1 to 3 hours. Tour duration begins when you meet your guide and ends when you part ways. If pickup and drop-off from your accommodations is arranged, that drive time counts toward your tour duration.

Meeting location is provided upon booking. In most cases, your guide can pick you up and drop you off anywhere on the island.

Cancellation Policy
Please note that your payment will only be refunded if the hike is cancelled five or more days in advance of the scheduled hike. Tours cancelled 5 or more days before the start date may be subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
