Self-Guided Bike Tours New Orleans

General Company Policy, Cancellations, Reschedules, Late Arrivals & Returns, Weather and Refund Policies:

• Bicycle Tour & Bicycle Rental Reservation Availability & Inventory are Limited.
  A small business like ours cannot absorb the costs of short notice cancellations, short notice rescheduling requests, and/or 'No Show' Riders.

• Private Tours Require That All 12 Tour Tickets Be Purchased For Groups of 1 to 12 Riders.

• Participants must be in good health, be able to operate, control and balance the equipment at the time of Rental or Tour and be able to safely & competently ride a bike!

• If any rider does not possess sufficient riding skills to safely ride a bike, that individual will not be allowed to attend the tour; neither a refund nor gift card will be issued. Sufficient skill level will be determined by a Company Staff.

• If you or your party members cannot or refuse to participate on the bike tour or bike rental for any reason, neither a refund nor a gift card will not be issued.

• Cancellations, Reschedules, Refunds are at the Company's discretion. Any and all approved cancellations will have a transferable gift card issued.

• Cancellation and/or Rescheduling requests require a minimum of 48 hours notice -> send an email with your request, do not call. Outside of 48 hours - Reschedules are dependent on tour/rental availability & capacity.

• Cancellations and/or Reschedules inside 48 hours are not eligible for refunds or activity rescheduling.

• 'No Shows' will receive neither a gift card nor a refund.

• Late Arrivals (Tours): once the tour embarks from our starting point on the street corner near the shop - reschedules, gifts cards, and/or refunds will not be issued.

• Late Arrivals (Rentals): this usually is not an issue unless it's peak season like Jazz Fest, Halloween, et al. or if we have reservations relying on precise pickup & return times. Please inform the shop via email or phone call that you will be late; Company Staff will inform you if your late arrival is going to be problematic.

• Any tour participant who does not listen to the tour guide's instructions, violates Company policy, or is deemed a risk to themselves or others will be disallowed from continuing the tour. Refunds and/or reschedules will not be issued. The rider will be responsible for transportation costs to their destination without the use of the tour bike.

Weather Policy:

• In the event of wet conditions, complimentary ponchos are provided free of charge.

• Please do not contact us about the weather forecast; forecasts are for a general area and not necessarily for your specific location. Meteorologists are more often wrong than they are right.

• We've been rolling New Orleans Bike Tours & Rentals for more than a decade - we are really good at determining if the weather is going to present an issue.

• In the event of severe weather, e.g. a lightning storm, sustained high winds, etc. - we will contact you via text message, email or phone call One Hour before the scheduled departure time to adjust the departure time or reschedule the tour.

• If you or your party members decline to participate due to weather conditions deemed acceptable by the Company, neither a refund nor a gift card will be issued.

• If the Company cancels/reschedules the tour due to severe weather, and your schedule does not allow for a new tour time, you will be offered a transferable gift card or refund.

• Pedal Bike Tours Roll Rain or Shine with Exceptions for Severe Weather.

• Electric Bike Tours are Dependent on the Weather Radar. Company Staff will make the Determination if the activity will move forward or be cancelled/rescheduled.

Bike Rental departures are not allowed while rain is falling. When there is a break in the rain and the weather is determined to be suitable for departure, Company Staff will green light your departure.

• If you or your party members decline to participate due to weather conditions deemed acceptable by the Company, neither a refund nor a gift card will be issued.

Bicycle Riding Ability & Refusal to Participate:

• Please ensure that you and all members of your party can safely and confidently ride a bicycle before arriving for your bike tour or bike rental.

• If any rider does not possess sufficient riding skills to safely ride a bike, that individual will not be allowed to attend the tour; neither a refund nor gift card will be issued. Sufficient skill level will be determined by Company Staff.

• If you or your party members cannot or refuse to participate on the bike tour or bike rental for any reason, neither a refund nor a gift card will not be issued.
