Key Largo Snorkeling & Scuba Diving Trips
Join us while we visit John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, or Molasses Reef, part of the 3rd largest reef in the world and the largest in North America. We also frequent the Christ of the Abyss Statue, Grecian Rocks, and other locations all within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary in Key Largo.
Enjoy a relaxing 3.5-hour tour on our custom 50 Foot Dive and Snorkel Vessel, The Sea Dweller III. As the ONLY Marine Management boat in the Florida Keys, The Sea Dweller III has plenty of room to move around compared to the standard Newton or 6-passenger dive boats you find elsewhere. All our boats are Coast Guard-inspected vessels, ensuring that we have the most up-to-date safety features and training for your family. Enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks, while you are able to sit back and relax the way diving and snorkeling is meant to be.
Where We Go
Our standard trips include 2 Locations, and we will have time to snorkel for over an hour at each location.
Enjoy 2 locations on our shallow reefs of the Upper Keys National Sanctuary. As a protected reserve on the largest reef structure in North America, Molasses Reef delivers the finest diving and snorkeling in the Keys!
Trips include tanks and weights for divers and mask, fin and snorkel for snorkelers. We offer full lines of dive and snorkel rental equipment on site. All snorkelers must know how to swim and be comfortable swimming in open ocean.
Ages
All passengers must be at least 2 years of age to RIDE aboard the vessel and at least 4 years of age to SNORKEL.

Included
Snorkeling: two snorkel locations with an hour in the water at each location, mask, snorkel, fins, snorkel vest, ice water, cookies and use of our boat's cooler for drinks and snacks (please no glass containers or bottles), reef-safe sunscreen, basic snorkeling instruction, limited number of pool noodles available on each boat.
Scuba Diving: two tank dive in two locations includes tanks, weights, snacks and water.
Timing
- For AM trips, please arrive at 7:30 AM for divers and 7:45 AM for snorkelers.
- For PM trips, please arrive at 12:00 PM for divers and 12:15 PM for snorkelers.
As a certified diver, it is each individual’s responsibility to maintain his/her knowledge and skill levels through consistent practice and continued education. Please remember to bring your certification card with you. We check all certification cards prior to boarding the Sea Dweller III.

John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park
This park is the United States first underwater National Park. The park consists of a 25 mile long stretch, covering over 70 nautical miles in the Upper Florida Keys. Sea Dwellers is proud to be a Blue Star Operator, as well as Coral Restoration Foundation partner in which we donate our boats to coral restoration, Goal Clean Seas cleanups, and do our part to ensure the reefs are protected for future generations! We are proud to take you to various sites within John Pennekamp State Park including Molasses Reef, French Reef, The Christ of The Abyss Statue, Grecian Rocks, and many others! The reefs we visit were formed from over 5,000 years old limestone, and consist of a mix of 80 species of stony and soft coral, and is home to 100s of species of fish. John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park very often delivers animals such as parrotfish, spiny lobster, rays and eagle rays, and sea turtles, nurse sharks and barracuda.
