Description

Clark Fork River Scenic Float Trip through Alberton Gorge

Looking for a laid-back way to experience the beauty of Montana from the water? This 2.5-hour scenic float on the Clark Fork River offers the perfect mellow adventure through a calmer stretch of the Alberton Gorge. It’s an ideal trip for beginners, families with young kids, or anyone who wants to soak in the stunning surroundings without the intensity of big rapids.
Your day begins at Wiley headquarters, where you’ll meet your guide, get outfitted with gear, and receive a safety briefing. From there, your guide will lead you down a peaceful, picturesque section of the river filled with opportunities to spot wildlife such as bald eagles, osprey, river otters, deer, and even the occasional black bear. Along the way, enjoy swimming holes, lighthearted raft games, and sweeping views of canyon walls and forested hillsides.
To top it all off, we’ll end the trip with a cold post-float cooler stocked with drinks for all ages—a refreshing way to wrap up your Montana river adventure.
