Specialty Options – These are 1 INTRO dive each, you are NOT certified in these specialties

• Boat Diving (Boat Trip Fee Not Included): Learn how to safely plan and execute dives from various types of boats, including entries, exits, and gear setup in limited space. Perfect for divers who want to explore offshore reefs, wrecks, and deep dive sites not accessible from shore.
  
• Deep Diving: Gain the skills and knowledge to safely dive beyond 60 feet (18 meters), up to a maximum of 130 feet (40 meters). You'll learn about gas management, narcosis awareness, and how pressure affects your body and gear at depth.
  
• Nitrox (Enriched Air): Learn how to use oxygen-enriched air to extend your bottom time and reduce nitrogen exposure. Ideal for repetitive dives or longer days on the water.
  
• Navigation: Master the use of a compass and natural underwater landmarks to navigate confidently during your dives. This course enhances your orientation skills and helps you avoid surface swims or getting lost.
  
• Night Diving & Limited Visibility: Discover how to dive safely in darkness or low-visibility conditions while learning about nocturnal marine life and the use of dive lights. It’s an entirely new and exciting way to experience familiar dive sites.
  
• Perfect Buoyancy: Fine-tune your buoyancy skills for better air consumption, better trim, and effortless hovering. Great for underwater photographers or any diver wanting more control and comfort in the water.
  
• Waves, Tides, and Currents: Learn how to read ocean conditions and plan dives around changing tides, surge, and currents. Gain the confidence to dive safely in dynamic environments.
  
• DPV/Scooter: Learn to operate a Diver Propulsion Vehicle (underwater scooter) to cover more ground and extend your range underwater. You'll practice handling, maneuvering, and managing dive plans with a DPV.
  
• Equipment Techniques: Get hands-on with your gear and learn how to care for, maintain, and troubleshoot your scuba equipment. This course helps increase your confidence and self-sufficiency as a diver.
  

Daily Itinerary

• Arrive at the dive shop 30 minutes before your scheduled start time.
  
• Meet your instructor and review your selected specialties.
  
• Gear up and receive a safety briefing.
  
• Begin first dive session or classroom module.
  
• Break between sessions (snacks and drinks available nearby).
  
• Continue with remaining dives or theory work.
  
• Debrief with your instructor and log your dives.
  
• Plan next course sessions if needed to complete your bundle.
  

Duration of Adventure

• You can complete these at your own pace.
  
• The exact duration will depend on the selected specialty dives, often it takes 2 to 3 days to become advanced certified.

• You will meet at the shop to check in before transporting yourself to the shore dive spot.
  
• Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled start time to complete paperwork and prepare gear.
  

Ages & Requirements

• Minimum age of 12 years old to participate. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for check-in and consent.
  
• Participants must already hold an Open Water Diver certification (SSI or equivalent).
  
• You will be required to complete a DAN Medical Questionnaire at Check-in but preferably fill out ahead of the tour time to know if you can dive. 
  
• If you have to answer yes to specific questions about past or current medical conditions it may be required for you to have a doctor complete the form so that you will be allowed to participate. Due to space being reserved for you and not allowing others to have this space, not completing this prior does not allow you to receive a refund if you can not participate until a doctor completes the form and a rescheduling last minute fee may be applied. 
  
• Not suitable for pregnant individuals.
  
• Participants must be in good physical health and able to swim comfortably.
  
• Not recommended for individuals with serious medical conditions or limited mobility. Please inform us in advance of any physical or medical conditions that could affect your dive.
  
• Do not drink alcohol or take sedatives before your dives.
  
• Participants must wait 18–24 hours after diving before flying.
  

What’s Included

• Four (4) SSI specialty courses of your choice–these are shore-dives unless a boat dive is selected.
  
• Professional instruction and in-water training.
  
• Digital training materials for each course.
  
• Certification cards upon successful completion.
  
• All necessary scuba gear for training dives.
  

Not Included

• Gratuity - Never expected but if you have a great experience, please consider gifting 10 to 25% to your instructors!
  
• Please have your own transportation for getting to the dive spot.
  
• Boat trip fees (required for Boat Diving specialty).
  
• Personal scuba equipment if preferred.
  
• Specialty courses outside of the bundle (e.g., Stress & Rescue, Science of Diving).
  
• SSI registration fees if applicable.

Wildlife Guidelines

Please be respectful of the fact that coral is a living organism and any standing, touching, or knocking over will irreparably damage the organism that takes a very long time to grow and is essential to our marine reefs. Please also be respectful of any marine animals including but not limited to turtles, rays, sharks, seals, and dolphins. Please never chase, harass, feed, or TOUCH any of the marine species. Enjoy their company if they approach from a distance and calmly move away from them if in their path.
