Leave the driving to your guide and experience one of the world's most legendary coastal roads at a relaxed pace on this private Road to Hāna adventure. Winding through more than 600 curves and crossing over 50 historic one-lane bridges, the Hāna Highway reveals a side of Maui filled with towering waterfalls, tropical rainforest, dramatic sea cliffs, and hidden coastal landscapes. With a private vehicle and flexible itinerary, you can simply enjoy the scenery while your guide shares stories about Maui's history, culture, and natural wonders.
Throughout the day, you'll stop at many of the Road to Hāna's most beautiful highlights, with opportunities to visit more than 10 waterfalls (conditions permitting), including a refreshing swim beneath a waterfall at Puaʻa Kaʻa State Wayside. Beyond the famous roadside stops, you'll explore lesser-known parts of the Hāna coastline, where ancient Hawaiian trails, sea caves, lava tubes, natural stone arches, sea stacks, blowholes, anchialine pools, and sacred Hawaiian sites tell the story of the island's volcanic past and rich cultural heritage.
The adventure concludes at one of Maui's famous black sand beaches, where crashing waves, volcanic rock, and lush coastal scenery create one of the island's most iconic landscapes. Along the way, you'll enjoy a delicious farm-to-table lunch, local snacks, and plenty of time to stop for photos, short walks, and unforgettable viewpoints.   2. This is a full day of driving with periodic stops for short walks and swimming; guests prone to motion sickness on winding roads should plan accordingly.
  3. There is a maximum of 7 guests for the tour.
