KDU Refresher Course - $195.50+tax/person

KDU Refresher Course is for those who have not been diving for 2-5 years. This will include 2 dives with us in the open ocean from our shore location.
Dive 1 will focus on practical application of skills and dive 2 will be more of a fun dive putting into play all of the refreshed skills and allowing you to enjoy the dive.

PADI ReActivate - $250.00+tax/person

PADI ReActivate is for those who have not been diving for 5 years or more. This will offer an eLearning Knowledge Review to refresh you on the physics, physiology and theory as well as include 2 dives with us in the open ocean from our shore location.
Dive 1 will focus on practical application of skills and dive 2 will be more of a fun dive putting into play all of the refreshed skills and allowing you to enjoy the dive. You will receive a new PADI certification card as well stating you have been updated in the current year.

Haven’t been diving lately and want a quick scuba refresher? Our Refresher program is the perfect way to update your dive skills and knowledge from your Open Water Diver Course before jumping back into the water. Whether you want a few reminders or need to go over the basics, KDU Refresher is personalized for you and your skill level. It’s quick and easy, and a good way to prepare for your next adventure dive with Kauai Down Under.

Any PADI certified diver who wants a refresher with a new certification card or pre-travel update should enroll in the PADI ReActivate Course. Dive shops appreciate seeing a recent ReActivate date on your certification card because it means you’re ready to dive in. Please speak with your booking representative for details on how to arrange upgrading to the PADI ReActivate Course on your upcoming vacation!

Cancellation Policy

🌊 Dive Kauai's Generous 24-Hour Cancellation Policy - Risk-Free Booking!

At DIve Kauai, we understand plans can change, which is why we offer something you might not find elsewhere -- a truly generous 24-hour FREE cancellation window. It's all about providing peace of mind so you can book with confidence.

Cancellation Guidelines:

Final Reservations: Tours reserved within 24 hours of the start time are considered FINAL and not eligible for a refund.
Free Cancellation: Tours canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time will incur no charges. (Calculated to the minute! For a 7:30 am tour, cancellations must be made by 7:29 am Hawaii Time the day before.)
Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Tours canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time or customers who do not show up will be charged 100% of the tour total. (Again, calculated to the minute—e.g., 7:29 am Hawaii Time the day before a 7:30 am tour.)

🚫 Important Safety & Certification Notice:

For your safety, you cannot participate in activities above 1,000 feet (300 meters) in elevation within 18 hours after diving. This includes:

Driving or hiking to Waimea Canyon
Taking Helicopter or Airplane Tours
Departing the island on commercial flights (even short flights like those to Oahu)
Proof of Certification Required: Certified divers MUST present valid proof of certification (physical card or official eCard) to the Divemaster before diving. Failure to provide valid proof will be considered a “Day of Cancellation” and is not eligible for a refund.

💡 Tip: If you have plans above 1,000 feet within 18 hours of your dive, contact us at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule or cancel. Once within the 24-hour window, the policy applies.
