About
Our experienced rafting guides take guests rafting down the Resurrection River for a thrilling 7 to 8 mile rafting adventure! KBA specializes in rafting glacial rivers, and the Resurrection River offers amazing sightseeing, and challenges to those seeking thrills.
This is an interactive, team adventure that involves everyone paddling the raft with precise direction from your guide. Everyone will participate as it takes the whole raft team to maneuver the raft down the river.
Your adventure begins with a courtesy pickup in Seward, and then a short drive to the river put-in. Prior to getting in the raft your guide will conduct an important safety briefing. Once everyone is in the raft, your guide will run you through a series of instructional paddle strokes, commands, and maneuvers.
Once everyone is ready, including your guide, you will begin your rafting adventure down the swift currents of the Resurrection River.
Every trip is different as the river is constantly changing through this dynamic landscape. The river is surrounded by towering mountains on both sides which showcases the gorgeous nature of the area’s diverse environment.
After floating the river for about 7 to 8 miles, you will stop at our designated take-out. After some high-fives, and laughs you’ll be transported back to Seward.

By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to Kenai Backcountry Adventures’ Reservation Policies and Passenger Weight Policy, including all applicable cancellation terms and any overweight surcharge conditions.
Because we commit staffing, logistics, transportation, permits, and limited inventory well in advance, we are unable to make exceptions to these policies due to illness, injury, medical emergencies, family emergencies, travel delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to help protect your trip investment against unexpected changes, weather disruptions, travel delays, illness, or emergencies.

Day Tours – No Aircraft Involved
- 48 Hours or More Before Departure: Refund of payments made minus a 10% administrative fee (90% refund)
- Less than 48 Hours Before Departure: No refund; full payment is forfeited
- No-Shows: Full payment is forfeited
- Weather Cancellations by KBA: Full refund (100%). Whenever possible, rescheduling may be offered, subject to availability.
Day Tours – Includes Aircraft Travel
- 30 Days or More Before Departure: Refund of payments made minus a 10% administrative fee (90% refund)
- Less than 30 Days Before Departure: No refund; full payment is forfeited
- No-Shows: Full payment is forfeited
- Weather Cancellations by KBA: Refund of payments made minus a 10% administrative fee. Whenever possible, rescheduling or credit may be offered, subject to availability.
Multi-Day Tours & Expeditions
- 90 Days or More Before Departure: Refund of payments made minus a 10% administrative fee
- 89 to 61 Days Before Departure: Payments are non-refundable; however, 50% of payments made may be issued as a non-cash credit valid for one year from the original departure date and applied toward a future Kenai Backcountry Adventures booking, subject to availability
- 60 Days or Less Before Departure: No refund or credit; full payment is forfeited
- No-Shows: Full payment is forfeited
- Weather Cancellations by KBA: Refund of payments made minus a 10% administrative fee. Whenever possible, rescheduling or credit may be offered, subject to availability.
Custom Tours or Tailored Bookings
- All sales are final. Changes or cancellations are not permitted.
Tours or Services Operated by Other Providers
- Some packages, custom itineraries, or bundled bookings may include tours, lodging, transportation, or other services operated by third-party providers. In such cases, that provider’s payment terms, cancellation policies, refund terms, and change fees may apply to their portion of the booking.
Third-Party Bookings
- If you booked through a third-party agency, travel advisor, reseller, or booking platform, that party’s cancellation policy applies. Any cancellation, change, or refund request must be made directly through the agency or platform you booked with.
