FAQs

What are the fitness requirements for this activity?

Snowshoe tours vary in difficulty, with options available for beginners as well as more experienced snowshoers. Our guides will ensure you're matched with an appropriate trail.

When is the season for snowshoeing in Park City?

Snowshoe hiking runs from mid-November through mid-April (depending on weather and snow conditions).

Are there any less-crowded snowshoeing trails in Park City?

Yes, while some trails can be popular, there are quieter options available. We recommend booking one of our guided adventures to find yourself off the beaten path and get away from the crowds.

What are some safety tips for snowshoeing in Park City in winter?

Be sure to check weather conditions, follow your guide, and stay on designated trails. Don’t forget durable snow boots!

How difficult are Park City snowshoe tours?

Snowshoe tours vary in difficulty, with options available for beginners as well as more experienced snowshoers. Our guides will ensure you're matched with an appropriate trail.

What are the best winter snowshoeing trails in Park City?

A popular winter snowshoeing area in Park City is the Round Valley Trail System. While there are numerous other great trails, we recommend going with a guide to further explore other areas. Trail signs can easily be buried in snow and potentially present some safety issues.

Can I bring my dog snowshoeing?

Absolutely! Our adventures are dog-friendly. Just let us know you're planning on bringing your pup so we can select a trail that allows dogs. Be sure to bring a leash, doggie bags, water, and snacks for your dog, and follow leave-no-trace principles.
