Spend two unhurried hours meandering by SUP around one of Maui's most photographed bays. Makena is known for its exceptional beauty — Haleakalā rises on one side, Molokini and Lānaʻi sit across the water on another, and the West Maui Mountains fill out the view, all while you glide along a coastline of sandy beaches and palm-lined shore.
Partway through, take a quick dip and snorkel some of the best water Maui has to offer. During whale season, roughly late December through April, keep an eye on the horizon for a Humpback sighting; it's the kind of once-in-a-lifetime show that makes this bay so beloved.
