No experience is required. Your guide will select a trail and pace appropriate for your group’s ability, from gentle walks to more challenging full-day hikes.
Can children join the tour?
Yes. This private experience can accommodate families, but children should be able to walk comfortably for an extended period.
You’re welcome to bring a comfortable child carrier or hiking pack. Child safety carseats are required for children under 8 years old in accordance with Montana state law—please bring your own.
Will we see wildlife?
While sightings cannot be guaranteed, Yellowstone is home to bison, elk, bears, wolves, and many other species. Your guide will help identify wildlife, tracks, and other signs of animal activity along the trail.
