Description

Private Glacier National Park Cross-Country Ski Tour

Experience Glacier National Park in winter on a private cross-country ski tour that highlights the park’s quiet, snow-covered backcountry. Glide through forests of cedar and spruce, across frozen meadows, and along gentle, open trails with panoramic views of snow-capped peaks. Your guide will adapt the route to your skill level, ensuring a pace and experience that feels natural and enjoyable.

Popular areas for winter skiing include the Autumn Creek Trail at Marias Pass, which winds through forested slopes and open sections with wide-ranging mountain views. The West Glacier Nordic Trail offers a well-maintained 5-kilometer loop, ideal for both classic and skate skiing, surrounded by pristine winter scenery. For a unique experience, the Going-to-the-Sun Road—closed to vehicles in winter—provides a broad, gently graded corridor that reveals dramatic peaks, frozen waterfalls, and quiet valleys. Each area showcases a different side of Glacier’s winter landscapes, from intimate forest corridors to expansive mountain vistas.

Whether you are skiing for fitness, photography, or simply to explore the park’s quiet beauty, this private tour offers a tailored, immersive experience in one of the country’s most remarkable winter landscapes. Your guide ensures safety, comfort, and access to areas that highlight the park’s natural diversity, leaving you with a lasting impression of Glacier National Park in winter.
