Where can I go mountain biking around Pinedale?
Pinedale is a cross-country mountain biking paradise, with over 900,000 acres of public BLM land to explore. Two-track roads and open terrain let you pick a direction and go - many riders say you could bike here for years without repeating a route. The Green River Lakes area is especially popular for its vast riding opportunities, nearby campgrounds, and lodging. Plus, the local trail network continues to grow, with new downhill-style trails being developed by local biking groups in partnership with the Forest Service.
Where can I fat bike in winter?
Pinedale is an excellent spot for winter fat biking, with around 15 miles of groomed, shared-use trails in the White Pine/Kelly Park and CCC Pond areas. There are also new singletrack trails specifically for fat biking in the White Pine/Kelly Park system.
