Tours take place in the scenic Wasatch Mountains surrounding Park City, Utah. Most trailheads are within a 10-minute drive from downtown Park City. Complimentary pickup is provided from Park City area hotels and condos. Guests staying outside the Park City area can arrange to meet at a central location or request pickup for an additional fee.
Ages & Requirements
This tour is suitable for ages 4 and up, and no prior snowshoeing experience is needed. Snowshoeing is a low-impact activity that can be easily adapted for all fitness levels. Participants should be comfortable walking for up to two hours at a leisurely or moderate pace.

If you do not have snow boots or waterproof shoes, add this rental at checkout. Overshoes go over your tennis shoe to keep it warm and dry. These are not snow boots.
Do I need any experience to join this tour?
No experience is required! Snowshoeing is easy to learn and great for all fitness levels. If you can walk, you can snowshoe. Your guide will provide a quick orientation and adjust the route to match the group’s pace.
Do you offer private Park City snowshoe tours?
Yes! Private tours are available for an additional fee and can be selected during checkout. This option provides a more personalized pace and experience just for your group.
What is the Snowshoe and Sled Add-On?
The Snowshoe and Sled Option is an exciting add-on that includes a sled ride down the mountain after your hike. It’s available on weekdays at 9:30 AM (excluding weekends and holidays). If weather or snow conditions make sledding unsafe, we’ll simply enjoy a standard snowshoe route instead.
What if there’s bad weather?
Snowshoeing is one of the best ways to enjoy snowy conditions! However, if weather becomes unsafe (such as during high winds or heavy snowstorms), the tour may be rescheduled or modified for safety.
