For young adventurers, that first breath underwater is pure magic. This kids' scuba class turns the resort pool into a playground for future divers, with real scuba gear, games, and plenty of splashing.

After a safety briefing in the shade, your child is fitted with scuba equipment sized just for them, then slips beneath the surface to try breathing underwater, swimming with gear, and floating weightlessly. The focus is on fun rather than formal skills, so the hour flies by in a blur of bubbles and big smiles.

Parents are welcome to join their child in the pool, making it a sweet shared memory — and a perfect first step for kids who dream of exploring Maui's reefs someday.

Duration

1. 1 Hour
2. This is a pool session that will include a safety briefing and gear fitting.
3. Please check in 15 minutes before your scheduled time each day.
   

Location / Where to Meet

1. Check In Address: Ocean Experience Center, Fairmont Kea Lani, 4100 Wailea Alanui Dr, Wailea, HI 96753
   

• Check-in is required at the resort — check in at the Ocean Experience Center inside the resort. This is a pool-only experience — there is no ocean dive.
  
• Parking: Valet is available at the Fairmont Kea Lani for a fee (parking is not validated). Free public parking is available at Polo Beach Park — walk to your right along the beachfront path to the resort.
  

Ages & Requirements

1. Minimum Age: 8 Years Old – Participants must be at least 8 years old to try the pool scuba diving. Parents may participate alongside their child.
   
2. No Scuba Certification Required: This experience is designed for beginners, and no previous scuba diving experience is necessary.
   
3. Comfort in the Water Required: Your child should be comfortable in the water. The session takes place in shallow water with an instructor close by at all times.
   
4. Diver Medical Questionnaire Required: All divers must complete a medical questionnaire before diving. Complete it well before your tour to determine whether medical clearance is needed.
   
5. Medical Clearance (If Required): Certain answers about current or past medical conditions may require a doctor's approval before diving. You cannot participate without the required medical clearance.
   
6. Important Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be issued if you cannot dive because you failed to complete the medical questionnaire or obtain required medical clearance. Last-minute rescheduling fees may also apply.

3. Certifications — This is solely an introductory pool experience; it is NOT a scuba certification.
   
4. Valet parking at the Fairmont Kea Lani (an extra fee; free public parking is available at Polo Beach Park).
   
5. Transportation to the hotel check-in, you must find personal transport to the hotel for check-in.
