Start with the fundamentals to break those bad habits (even the ones you might not know you have)!
Looking to boost your confidence on the bike or finally learn the proper techniques behind great mountain biking? The Fundamental Skills Clinic is a half-day session designed for riders of all levels. This hands-on clinic focuses on the core building blocks of riding, including proper body positioning, effective braking, wheel lifts for tackling obstacles, and confidently navigating switchbacks. You'll receive real-time feedback from certified instructors and have the opportunity to ask questions as you go!
It’s not just for beginners. Riders with years of experience often find that dialing in the fundamentals transforms the way they ride. Please note, the park has a small entry fee that participants will pay upon arrival.

FAQs
What if the weather is bad?
We do our best to host clinics, rain or shine. In the event conditions are unsafe, trails are closed or if riding trails will cause damage, we will reschedule your event (season dependent) and/or provide a transfer credit applicable to any future Ninja event nationwide.
Do you offer refund?
To receive any refund, you must cancel before the clinic starts.
- More than 30 days before the clinic – You get a 50% refund
- 15 to 30 days before the clinic – You get a 25% refund
- 14 days or less before the clinic – No refunds
Optional: If you purchase Ninja Event Insurance, you can cancel up to 48 hours before the clinic and receive a 100% credit for a future event. Credits can be used anytime and do not expire.
When should I expect information on when and where to meet for my event?
3 days prior to your clinic! Information on exactly where to meet, what to bring and other important details will be posted on the Event Information Page. A link to the Event Information Page is included in your registration confirmation email. We will send you an email 3 days prior to your clinic with a reminder to check the Event Information Page.
Do you offer private instruction?
Yes, we offer private instruction in areas where we have instructors available.
Are your instrcutors certified?
Yes. All of our instructors are BICP/IMBA Certified or PMBI Certified.
Are e-bikes allowed at your events?
Ninja welcomes e-bikes at our clinics that are held on e-bike friendly trails. We encourage you to do your own research on local e-bike regulations and if you aren’t sure, check with us to see if e-bikes are permitted at the venue you’re considering joining us at. Please note, not all Ninja teaching venues are open to e-bikes.
What level of fitness do I need in order to attend a clinic?
You do not have to be an elite athlete to attend or participate in ANY of our clinics—basic health and fitness is just fine!

Cancellation Policy
Ninja Event Insurance Ninja Event Insurance is offered at checkout and if purchased, this insurance allows you to cancel your registration up to 48 hours prior to the start of your event and still receive a 100% credit towards a future event. A credit is not a refund. A credit allows you to attend the same type of event in the future. A Ninja credit never expires and works for any place we teach. You MUST purchase Ninja Event Insurance at checkout for this coverage.
