Ages & Requirements
Guests must be 16+ to ride an elecric bike. If you are 18 or younger, one of your parents or a legal guardian will need to sign the Release from Liability form.
- Please note, no customer under the age of 18 will be given a bike without an adult over the age of 18 present.
- For electric bikes, riders must be ages 16+.
- Weight limits: 300 pounds.
- All guests must be able to ride a bike on their own
- Tag-a-longs and double trailers can’t be attached to road bikes, eBikes, or personal bicycles.

Can I pick up my bike from one location and return it to another?
Yes, you can enjoy one way biking from either of our locations! Please let our staff know at the time of check-in that you will be returning it at a different location.
The ride between our Central Park and Brooklyn Bridge locations is between 4-5 miles, and typically takes around 30 minutes with no stops.
Can I ride a bike on the Brooklyn Bridge?
Yes! There is a designated bike lane on the Brooklyn Bridge, but it can be narrow and crowded, especially during peak hours.
How long does it take to bike across the Brooklyn Bridge?
It typically takes 10–15 minutes to bike across the bridge, but it may take longer due to pedestrian traffic.
What neighborhoods can I explore with my bike rental?
From our Brooklyn Bridge location, you can easily explore Lower Manhattan, including Chinatown, Little Italy, the Lower East Side, and the City Hall area. You can also ride across the Brooklyn Bridge to discover Dumbo, Williamsburg, and Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Can I take an ebike to Williamsburg or beyond?
Yes! You can continue biking into Williamsburg via the Williamsburg Bridge or explore Brooklyn’s waterfront for even more scenic rides.
Is it easy to bike in Central Park?
Yes, biking in Central Park is generally easy and enjoyable! Central Park is car-free and features many well-maintained bike paths that separate cyclists from pedestrians, making it safer and more convenient for riders.
Does Central Park allow electric bikes?
Yes, Central Park does allow electric bikes/ebikes! Riders should be mindful of their speed and operate e-bikes in a manner that is safe for both themselves and pedestrians.
How late can you rent bikes in New York?
Unlimited Biking’s DayPass Rental allows you to rent the bikes during our hours of operation (8AM-8PM, 8AM-5PM during winter). We also offer long term rentals if you were interested in riding outside of our hours of operation!
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance from the date of departure to avoid cancellation fees.
