The 7-mile Shoshone Trip focuses on just that final section—packed with nearly continuous whitewater like Colter’s Falls and Little Big Drop. It's shorter, more fast-paced, and ideal for those looking for a shorter trip.
Do I need prior experience to go white water rafting in Cody, WY?
Nope! The Shoshone River is beginner-friendly and guided by experienced professionals. The Red Canyon Trip is great for first-timers looking for a mix of scenery and adventure, while the 7-Mile Trip offers a more adrenaline-focused introduction to whitewater.
