Less than an hour’s drive northwest of Austin, in the southern Hill Country, lies Spider Mountain, the only year-round lift-served bike park in the US. Whether you’re out for a leisurely cruise or looking to pump the adrenaline, Spider Mountain has something for everyone!
Our lax green trails offer a great experience for beginners. Cruise through, get a taste, and work less with the help of Texas’ only chairlift. Itsy-Bitsy, is a great trail for our riders who want smooth sailing with minimal bumps and no jumps. For the thrill-seeker type, our blue and black trails deliver some serious adrenaline pumps. Our team put together north shore-style trails bringing wooden stunts and big jumps. Get ready for a day of excitement and community!
At Spider Mountain, our team is dedicated to delivering both excellence and affordability. We foster an environment that not only celebrates mountain biking culture but also welcomes newcomers to the sport. Affordability is straightforward: we offer lower ticket prices when purchased online, FREE power kids pass for children 12 and under, and free introductory lessons for those new to downhill biking. Exchange up until midnight the day before. Plus enjoy $10 of Spidie Cash to use during your visit.
Scenic Chairlift
Spider Mountain Bike Park is home to the only chairlift in the state of Texas. Spanning 350 vertical feet the Texas Eagle brings you to the top of Spider Mountain where you can take in views of Lake Buchanan and the surrounding Hill Country. You can also combine a chairlift ride with our hiking trail to get the full experience.
Scenic lift passes are $20, making this trail the perfect option for those who would like to experience Spider Mountain’s natural beauty, but aren’t ready or able to hop on a mountain bike. Come experience stunning vistas of the Texas hill country and Lake Buchanan from Texas’ only lift-accessed hiking trail!

What to Bring / Wear
Wear the clothes that you would wear if you were to go hiking. Focus on something comfortable and breathable, with closed-toed shoes. We recommend long sleeves and shorts but it is up to your personal preference.

How do I use my Spidie Cash?
Spidie Cash is our resort credit that can be used during your visit to Spider Mountain! This can be used on snacks, retail, rentals, lessons, or even a stay at Thunderbird Lodge. Get your tickets online to have the chance of getting Spidie Bucks.
Valid on select tickets. The price will be green on our webstore.
You will receive an email the morning of your visit to use your Spidie Cash.
What is variable ticket pricing?

What does that mean? It means the earlier you buy you save. Tickets start as low as $24 and go up from there based on the amount of tickets bought and time of the year.
Do you offer half day lift tickets?
No, Spider Mountain only offers full day lift tickets.
Cancellation Policy
Within 48 hours of the ticket or lesson purchase, you are eligible for a 100% refund paid to the payment device used to purchase your lift ticket, rental, or lesson. Tickets, rentals, and lessons are not refundable or transferable on the date valid.
You can exchange your purchases for resort credit up until 11:59PM the day before validation. After that time, your purchase is final and cannot be exchanged.
If the resort is on a delayed opening and or closed due to lighting, rain and other weather conditions that prevent the guest from riding safely on trails and lift, they are to receive a raincheck to use another day if the shut down is before 1pm of the operational day. There are no refunds due to weather conditions.
