Intensive Wingfoil Camps in La Ventana, Baja California Sur!

Spend a week focused on one thing: becoming a better wingfoiler. Set against the warm waters and reliable winds of La Ventana, Baja California Sur, these immersive camps combine five days of personalized coaching, more than 10 hours of water time, jet ski-assisted tow foiling, accommodations, meals, and a community of riders who are all there to progress.

Choose the camp that matches where you are in your wingfoil journey. Beginners build the skills needed to get onto the foil and start riding with confidence, while intermediate riders focus on cleaner technique, transitions, and more advanced maneuvers. Small groups allow coaches to tailor sessions to individual goals, while daily transportation helps put you in the best available conditions.

Off the water, the camp experience continues. Refuel with included meals, recover between sessions with activities like yoga and ice baths, spend time with fellow riders, and settle into your choice of a glamping tent or private casita near the water. With the logistics handled for you, your week can revolve around wind, water, progression, and enjoying Baja.

Beginner Wingfoil Camp in La Ventana: Learn to Wingfoil

New to wingfoiling? This camp is designed to build your skills from the ground up. You'll learn how to handle the wing and foil equipment, develop board control, understand wind and positioning, and gradually work toward getting up and riding on foil.

Personalized coaching allows you to progress at your own pace, while a jet ski-assisted tow foil session gives you the opportunity to experience the foil separately from managing the wing. That means more time learning how the board lifts, balances, and responds beneath you before putting all the pieces together. By the end of the week, the goal is to leave with a strong foundation, greater confidence, and the skills to continue progressing independently.

Intermediate Wingfoil Camp in La Ventana: Improve Your Foiling Skills

Already getting up on foil? This camp is where you start turning basic riding into smoother, more confident wingfoiling. Coaching is tailored around the skills you want to unlock, with sessions focused on improving stability, control, jibing, foot switches, tacking, and more advanced maneuvers.

Instead of simply accumulating more hours on the water, you'll get focused feedback designed to identify what's holding back your progression and help you make meaningful improvements throughout the week. With La Ventana's consistent wind, small-group coaching, and plenty of water time, you'll have repeated opportunities to practice new techniques, make adjustments, and take your riding to the next level.

FAQs

Where do the camps take place?

Our camps are based in La Ventana, Baja California Sur, Mexico — one of the world’s premier wingfoiling destinations, known for its consistent winter winds, warm waters, and vibrant riding community.

Lessons typically take place at the best local launch spots around La Ventana, chosen daily based on wind and water conditions to maximize your learning experience. Common spots include Playa Central and other nearby beaches with ideal wind and water for foiling.

Do I need previous wingfoiling experience?

No prior experience is required for the beginner camp — we’ll start with the basics and build up from there. The intermediate camp is for riders who are already up and foiling, but want to refine their skills and expand what they can do on the water.

What’s the group size?

We keep our camps small — typically 6–8 participants — to ensure personalized attention and a close-knit group dynamic.

Are accommodations included?

Yes — accommodations are part of the camp package, with two options available: cozy glamping under the stars or a private casita with full amenities.

Is equipment included, or can I bring my own?

All wingfoil gear is included, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

What happens if there’s no wind?

If the wind doesn’t cooperate, we adapt the schedule — using no-wind days for technique workshops, gear tuning, theory lessons, and other water or fitness activities to help you progress.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes, we can accommodate most dietary needs — just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Cancellation Policy

  • $300 USD deposit required to reserve your spot, refundable if canceled at least 45 days before camp start
  • Remaining balance due 45 days prior to camp start
