La Ventana Kite Camps – Progress, Connect, and Enjoy the Wind
Spend a week in La Ventana, Mexico, where steady winds and warm water make it one of the best places to learn and progress in kiteboarding. Each camp is built around small-group learning with private lessons tailored to your level, whether you’re just getting started or looking to refine your technique. With one-on-one coaching from IKO-certified instructors, you’ll have focused time on the water and clear feedback to help you improve each day.
Your stay at Villa Brisa puts you right on the beach, steps from the launch area. After breakfast prepared by a private chef, mornings might start with yoga or a paddle along the shoreline before the wind builds for kiting. Afterward, relax in the pool or hot tub, share meals with the group, and spend the evening by the fire or exploring town. These camps balance skill development with time to unwind, offering an easy rhythm of learning, rest, and good company in one of Baja’s most scenic coastal settings.
The Instruction: La Ventana Kite Lessons
You'll learn with like-minded people who share your goals, making the process more fun, motivating, and confidence-boosting. All lessons are private (1 instructor per student) and tailored for beginners entering the sport or intermediate/advanced riders looking to progress. Our experienced team customizes each lesson to your level, goals, and pace. We follow IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) standards and teach on La Ventana’s most beginner-friendly beach.
Beginner Kiteboarding Lessons will start with a land-based session covering kite theory, safety protocols and kite control, until you're confidently riding with the board. Once you're up and riding, you'll practice in the Bay of La Ventana with your instructor riding with you. Riding together helps you progress faster by seeing and imitating their technique.
Intermediate & Advanced Kiteboarding Lessons will benefit from real-time advice and actionable feedback. You'll spend the week kiteboarding with expert guidance and personalized coaching. Whether you're refining transitions, learning to jump, or trying to ride a surfboard, our coaches will challenge and support you every step of the way. You'll also get to explore La Ventana’s variety of kite spots and incredible downwind routes!
