Kids grow faster than a ski season lasts. This season-long rental from a downtown Longmont ski shop gives your young skier or snowboarder their own skis or board, boots, and bindings for the whole winter, and when they outgrow them mid-season you can trade up to the next size instead of buying new gear.
With a setup waiting at home, ski days get simpler: no rental line with restless kids, no re-fitting on every trip, and boots they already know. Load the car and go, whether that's a morning at Eldora, less than an hour from Longmont, or a family week deeper in the mountains.
Full tunes are available all season at a reduced rate, so edges stay sharp and bases stay fast from the first snowfall to spring slush.

- Size exchanges are available during the season when your child outgrows their gear.
- Pick up, exchange, and return during shop hours. Ski season hours: Monday to Saturday 10 am to 7 pm, Sunday 11 am to 5 pm.

- Pick up and return your gear at the shop: 463 Main Street, Longmont, CO 80501 (Google Maps location).
- The shop is in downtown Longmont on Main Street. It is not slopeside; you'll take your gear home and drive to the ski area of your choice. Eldora Mountain Resort is less than an hour's drive from Longmont.
Ages & Requirements
- All ages welcome. The youth season rental is sized by gear length rather than age. The ski package covers skis up to 135 cm (53 in).
- Skiers who need skis longer than 135 cm (53 in) rent from the adult season packages.
- Choose skis or a snowboard when you book.
- Ski poles are not recommended until your child is a proficient skier.
- You are responsible for damage to, loss of, or theft of rental equipment.

- Ski package: skis up to 135 cm (53 in), boots, and bindings.
- Snowboard package: snowboard, boots, and bindings.
- Use of the gear for the full season.
- The option to exchange for a larger size during the season (see Not Included for the exchange fee).
Not Included
- Ski poles. Poles can be added for an extra fee.
- Size exchange fee. Swapping to a larger size carries an extra fee, which covers testing the bindings.
- Tunes. Full tunes are available throughout the season for an extra fee.
- Lift tickets and resort passes.
- Transportation to and from the ski area.
- Ski clothing, goggles, and gloves. Helmets, goggles, gloves, socks, and winter apparel are available to buy in the shop.
What to Bring / Wear
- Ski or snowboard socks. Wear them to your fitting so your boots are sized the way you'll ride in them.
- Waterproof jacket and snow pants.
- Base layers and a mid-layer. Choose moisture-wicking fabrics and avoid cotton.
- Waterproof gloves or mittens.
- Goggles or sunglasses.
- Helmet.
- Sunscreen and lip balm with SPF. The sun is strong at altitude, even on cold days.

What's included in the kids' season rental?
Ski packages include skis up to 135 cm (53 in), boots, and bindings. Snowboard packages include a snowboard, boots, and bindings. The gear is yours to keep for the whole season.
What happens if my child outgrows their gear mid-season?
Bring the gear back and we'll exchange it for a larger size. There's a small fee for the switch, which covers testing the bindings.
Are ski poles included?
No. Poles can be added for an extra fee, but we don't recommend them until your child is a proficient skier.
Can we get the gear tuned during the season?
Yes. Full tunes are available throughout the season for an extra fee. You don't need an appointment; drop the skis or board off during business hours. We aim to turn tunes around within 48 to 72 hours, depending on the work and how busy we are.
How is a season rental different from a kids' daily rental?
Daily and multi-day rentals are booked for 1 to 7 days and returned after your trip. A season rental stays at home with you all winter, and you can trade up in size as your child grows.
Where can we take the rental gear?
Anywhere you want to ski or ride. Eldora Mountain Resort is less than an hour's drive from Longmont, and most of Colorado's other ski areas are within a few hours.
Cancellation Policy
Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
