Join us for an unforgettable kayaking and snorkeling adventure along the serene and stunning Kohala Coast! Our journey begins with a paddle down the coast to our favorite snorkel spot, where you’ll have the chance to encounter an array of marine life. Swim alongside turtles, octopuses, manta rays, and a vibrant array of tropical fish. You might even spot spinner dolphins, and from January to March, our tours can turn into whale watching experiences!

During whale season, the ocean swells can sometimes be too large for safe snorkeling. On these occasions, we block off certain dates from online booking, but you can still call us to schedule a whale-watching kayak tour.

After our snorkeling adventure, we head to a picturesque beach for a light picnic featuring fresh local fruit and tasty snacks—a perfect moment for a photo op before we paddle back to Puako Bay.

What is included in the tour?

Our guided kayak and snorkel tours include masks, snorkels, fins, life jackets (optional), kayaks and paddles, water, a light picnic of fresh local fruit and tasty snacks, and photos of your adventure. We also provide a dry bag to keep your keys and phones dry.

What should I bring with me?

We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a swimsuit, a towel, and a change of clothes. If you have any personal snorkeling gear you prefer to use, feel free to bring it along.

What is the best time of year to go on this tour?

Our tours are fantastic year-round! However, from January to March, you may have the added bonus of whale watching. Keep in mind that during whale season, the swells can sometimes be too large for snorkeling, but we offer whale-watching kayak tours during these times.

Can children join the tour?

Yes, children ages 5-12 are welcome on the tour and we offer a special rate of $139 for keiki.

Are private tours available?

Yes, private tours are available. Please call us to check for availability. The cost is equivalent to one additional guest.

What if the weather is bad?

Safety is our top priority. If weather conditions are not ideal for snorkeling or kayaking, we will block off those dates from online booking. However, you can call us to discuss alternative options such as a whale-watching kayak tour during the whale season.

What time do the tours start?

Our tours start at 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM, lasting approximately 2.5 hours. Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and briefing.

Where do the tours launch from?

We launch our tours from a beautiful beach access point in Puako. Detailed directions will be provided upon booking.

What marine life can I expect to see?

You will likely see turtles, octopuses, manta rays, and a variety of tropical fish. Occasionally, we also encounter spinner dolphins, eagle rays, monk seals, and during the whale season, whales.
