Getting kids properly fitted makes all the difference on their first (or fiftieth) day on skis, and your team specializes in exactly that. Stop by the downtown Glenwood Springs shop and let the staff measure your child's foot, ask a few quick questions about their experience, and set them up with gear sized just for them.

The junior lineup includes all-mountain skis scaled down for young skiers, paired with properly fitted boots — no oversized adult gear that's harder to control or less comfortable to stand in all day. Since kids tend to fall more while they're learning or progressing, a good fit matters for both comfort and safety.

The shop is an easy stop no matter which mountain your family is headed to that day — Sunlight Mountain, Aspen, Snowmass, Vail, Beaver Creek, or Powderhorn are all within reach. Get the kids fitted the afternoon before and leave the gear in free overnight storage so the morning of your ski day is one less thing to manage.

Duration

1. Full-day and multi-day rentals are available, for up to 10 days — booked and charged by the day, with flexibility to adjust if your plans change.
   
2. Pick up your package during shop hours, or stop in between 2–6 PM the day before to get fitted ahead of time — take gear with you or leave it in free overnight storage at the shop.
   
3. A 1-day rental is not a 24-hour rental: equipment must be returned by 6 PM the same day, or an overnight fee applies. For multi-day rentals, equipment is due back by 6 PM on your scheduled return day, or an overnight fee applies.
   
4. Ski season runs Dec. 1 – Mar. 31, with the shop open 8 AM–6 PM, seven days a week, including holidays.

Ages & Requirements

1. Junior rentals are for children ages 12 and under.
   
2. Equipment fitting takes about 10–15 minutes per child, so plan extra time if you're fitting more than one.
   
3. Groups of 20 or more need to give 24 hours' notice for group fittings.

• Warm base layers and a couple of easy-to-adjust outer layers

• A change of dry clothes for the drive home — kids fall more while they're learning
