About
This paddle launches from Honest John's Fish Camp and takes us in around Mullet Creek's hundreds of mangrove islands. We commonly see dolphins, manatees, great blue herons, pelicans, and even an occasional green sea turtle. The fish camp itself is old Florida, like really old Florida. Started as a farmstead in 1887 growing yams and collards. Subsequent generations of the Smiths grew tired of farming and switched to fishing. Today, the fish camp is home to some of the best kayaking in the Indian River Lagoon.
What to Bring
Water, sunscreen, and plenty of energy!
